You can sample excellent wines and at many of the wineries indulge in first class cuisine, this is after all the reason for coming to Marlborough.

You can choose a tour see below, or explore yourself.
The best place to start is Marlborough Wine Wine, and follow their map, which you can download. If you plan on eating it is definitely recommended to make a reservation.
My favorites for vineyard dining are :
If you don’t want to drive, but want to do your own tour, try Hop On Hop Off Wine Tours, they are a shuttle bus operator that just drops you off and picks you up, it stops at most of the wineries, but obviously which ones you visit is up to you, when you have finished one hop on the next bus and drop off at the next venue, looks like they can pick you up in Picton.
Wine Tours
Waterways and Wine
This one is good if you only have one day and want to combine a morning boat trip on the sounds and an afternoon wine tour with one operator taking care of everything.
Cruise the Marlborough Sounds, enjoy a picnic lunch, then visit the best of Marlborough’s world-famous wineries.
